For those that may not be aware, EA has made the decision to remove the highly controversial micro transactions from battlefront 2 and that all progression will be earned through gameplay. However, EA has stated that they will be put back in at a later date once they made adjustments.
If u think for a second that EA actually cares about player experience then you have learned nothing from them over the past years. I've seen so many people say they are now gonna buy this game because of this. And that is clearly what they intended to happen. Don't look at this news and assume you can now safely purchase this game. If they actually did care and listen to what we wanted, they would have pulled them permanently.
We don't know what the changes are gonna be yet, and if u think that the new system isn't gonna find some way to exploit consumers out of their money then you've learned nothing. so let's not put our guards down just because we made a significant push against these. Lets not forget, this is EA we are dealing with people. They didn't suddenly just get a change of heart. When the micro transactions make their unwanted return with their new adjustments I can guarantee that people will be back in full rage mode mad that they fell for EA's trick.
I HOPE I AM WRONG, but with EA it's safe to assume the worst. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL WE KNOW THE DETAILS OF THE FULL ADJUSTMENTS. You do not have to buy this game day 1 people, it's not going anywhere. We finally made a significant push against loot boxes. Lets not undo all the work we just did.
