Today I saw an ad for a company offering "sponsored" or "zero rated" mobile data. App developers pay them money in order for their apps to be exempt from data usage and data caps. This is exactly what Net Neutrality is trying to prevent.

They appear to be primarily aiming at emerging mobile markets (Asia, India) and not the US, but this could soon be the norm without net neutrality. This is a perfect example of what ISPs will have the ability to do if net neutrality is repealed.

EDIT: It's pretty ironic that it's called "freeway" considering the freeway analogy so many have used to describe net neutrality.
